Welcome to our sailing club.
About the Club
The Surrey Sailing Club is a casual, friendly club located on Blackie Spit at Crescent Beach in Surrey. The club accommodates a wide range of water activities including sailing lessons, casual day sailing, racing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Our active members range in age from pre-teens to senior citizens. For many members, the club provides the perfect venue for a family day at the beach, complete with picnic tables and a bbq.
With the exception of our sailing school boats, all of the boats and watercraft at the club are member-owned. Every effort will be made to find space in the compound for new members to store their boats & boards so they can be on the water in minutes.
Learn to Sail
Interested in learning to sail or wanting to brush up on your sailing skills after a time away?
The Surrey Sailing Club is a CANSail training site registered with BC Sailing and Sail Canada. All of our sailing courses are taught by Sail Canada certified instructors with a very low student to teacher ratio. Courses are conducted in our fleet of training dinghies.
We also offer day camps for kids of all ages throughout the summer.
If you decide to join the club after taking lessons, you will receive a discount of 20% of your dues for the year!
Details on our programs can be found online in the Lessons section. We accept registration and payment offline or through our website.
