The Surrey Sailing Club was founded in 1970 to promote the sport of dinghy sailing. It is a private sailing club that is run by volunteer members, and is non-profit. Located at an ideal spot on a large and scenic bay on the south side of Vancouver Canada, it offers:
Single and family membership at a very reasonable cost
Sailboat storage in a secured compound that is fenced and locked
Close proximity to a protected sandy beach, ideal for dolly launching
Sailing lessons on the club's fleet of training sailboats, open to non-members
Organized sailboat racing three times per week, for six months of the year
Rescue boats to assist sailors during training and formal races
Social events
An established clubhouse
Kitchen and barbecue facilities
Change-rooms and shower
A fully equipped Race Control Tower
Fresh water hoses to wash boats after sailing
We are located on Blackie Spit in Crescent Beach, at 3140 McBride Avenue
