Race Management Staff
We are seeking applicants for the position of Race Management staff for the 2020 season. This is a part-time position, with approx. 4-12 hrs per week. Perfect for a student, or for those with another job.
The responsibilities for this position include;
- Mark set.
- Running mixed fleet races with consistent quality and in accordance to RRS.
- Recording results and scoring individual events and racing series using
SailWave software.
- Ensuring the on-water safety of SSC members participating in club racing,
and providing assistance if needed.
Previous racing and/or race management experience considered an asset, but not required. Specific training will be provided, and general training can be provided to the right candidate.
Compensation:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with experience. Free parking is available onsite, and easy public transportation is available nearby. Free staff shirt “uniforms” are provided for daily work use. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
