Youth Lessons

Youth lessons are a great way to get younger sailors out on the water and learn valuable skills. Day camps teach sailors using fun and interactive lesson plans specifically crafted by our coaches.

Courses include some classroom time, but the focus is on-the-water training in our club-owned boats – Optimists, RS Fevas, and Lasers. This is a wonderful way to be introduced to the joys of sailing on the expansive waters of Crescent Beach. Certificates are awarded to all successful students. Progress from all courses will be carried over between courses, meaning you can take the same course multiple times until you complete that level!

How to register for Day Camps:

1. Determine the level of the sailor and which course is best fitting for them

2. Determine which type of sailboat is suitable for them (OPTIMIST, RS FEVA, or LASER)

3. Register for the correct course in the correct boat!
